Army OPSEC Support Element Overview

The 1st IO Command’s Army OPSEC Support Element (OSE) provides support to HQDA DCS, G3/5/7, the proponent responsible for the Army OPSEC program.

The OSE mission is to function on behalf of G3/5/7 as the principle staff element for overall management of the Army OPSEC Program. The OSE is the primary coordinator for the Army OPSEC programs, planning, training, assessments, policy, incident response team, and mission integration throughout the Army.

IO Training Overview

The 1st Information Operations Command Training and Analysis Branch administers or arranges comprehensive IO training for 1st IO Command personnel. Training ranges from that required for newly assigned personnel to sustainment training and specialized training for technical personnel. The branch arranges for 1st IO Command personnel to attend schools and courses provided by other Services, agencies, industry and academia. IO FST MRX Overview

The 1st IO Command’s IO Field Support Team (FST) Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX) is a Culminating Training Event (CTE) for deploying IO FSTs of four or more personnel. Each IO FST MRX replicates the IO FST’s upcoming mission and supported unit(s) to provide realistic collective training that prepares the IO FST for its mission. An IO FST MRX also serves as an IO FST external evaluation that provides key leaders with objective feedback on the IO FST’s level of task proficiency and mission readiness.
