All new Federal Government employees must in-process at the Nolan Building. Once you arrive at the building,
use the lobby phone to contact S1 Civilian Personnel at (703)-428-4408/4319 so you can be escorted into the building.
Access to Fort Belvoir:
Fort Belvoir does not require the use of DOD decals on vehicles. Vehicles are not
required to be registered for entry onto post. Holders of DOD-issued ID cards will
be able to enter post at any open gate. Pence Gate operates 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tulley Gate is the visitor gate, and operates twenty-four hours per day, seven days
a week. Tulley Gate's primary use is for commercial vehicles and non-DOD-issued
ID holders. The following applies to those entering the post:
- Personnel with DOD ID may enter at any open gate.
- Commercial traffic and visitors (those without DOD ID) will enter
at Tulley Gate during its hours of operation, 5 a.m to 9 p.m.
- All personnel, including visitors, will use Tulley Gate during overnight
hours, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. There will be no commercial traffic allowed during this
time.
